ABOUT STORM THE STAGE
TechUnique will be hosting our third Storm The Stage Dance Competition in collaboration with our school's reigning NYC champion step teams, Lady Dragons and Organized Chaos. With the collaboration of dance and step, we hope to broaden the community and knowledge of different performing arts.

Storm The Stage will be split into two categories: step and dance. Storm The Stage Dance will be hosted by TechUnique whereas Storm The Stage Step will be hosted by Lady Dragons and Organized Chaos. Judging criteria, rules, requirements, applications, etc. are all based on the competition category that your team falls under. Storm The Stage will be held on Saturday, February 8th, 2025 at Brooklyn Technical High School.

Within the Storm The Stage dance division, TechUnique hopes to be able to open the dance community to more teams and groups; allowing them to be able to promote who they are as dancers with all different styles and showcase many other talented dancers in the community. This competition is open to all styles and backgrounds of dance, granting everyone the opportunity to express their appreciation for dance.

ABOUT TECHUNIQUE
Born out of a passion for dance with nowhere to express it, TechUnique was founded in a Dairy Queen by a group of juniors in 2018 and is now Brooklyn Technical High School's only open-style dance team. Beyond showcasing and competing in the New York City and East Coast dance community, we strive to foster a safe and welcoming dance environment within Brooklyn Tech. From learning choreographies to performing, TechUnique challenges their members to grow not only as dancers but as a team unit.
